(referred to as "Silian Group") based on the successful acquisition of the sapphire factory of Honeywell in the United States. After several rounds of capital increase, the company's registered capital is currently 500 million RMB. The main business of the company is the research and development, production, and sales of synthetic sapphire and its wafers, LED packaging devices, and LED lighting products.

Chongqing Suilian Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Suilian Optoelectronics" or "the company") was established in July 2008 based on the successful acquisition of the sapphire factory of Honeywell in the United States by China Suilian Instrument Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Suilian Group"). After several rounds of capital increase, the company's registered capital is 50 million yuan. The company's main business is the research and development, production, and sales of synthetic sapphire and its wafers, LED packaging devices, and LED lighting products.
The company has the capability to grow, process, and research world-class quality large-size sapphire, being the first in China to independently develop 6-inch sapphire substrate wafers. It has successfully passed Philips' epitaxial growth tests, becoming a leading enterprise in the preparation technology and standards of large-size wafers, capable of meeting the highest industry requirements, and becoming a preferred partner and core supplier for world-class lighting manufacturers such as Osram and Philips. With its world-leading technology and strength, Suilian Optoelectronics has become an important member of the SEMI industry association involved in the formulation of international standards for large-size sapphire substrates.
The technical level of the company's packaging products has reached an advanced level in China, successfully establishing cooperative relationships with top-ranking customers in the display, mobile phone backlight, and lighting industries. The packaging products produced by the company became the exclusive supplier for the 2012 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, receiving widespread praise from users for their stability and advanced quality.
In the field of LED applications, through independent research and development, the company has applied for more than eighty patents in various fields such as LED street lights, LED daylight lamps, LED rail transit signal lights, LED explosion-proof lights, and LED industrial lights, with over fifty patents granted. Related products have successfully passed CE, ROHS, and explosion-proof certifications, with technical indicators superior to domestic peers. Relying on the resource advantages of LED energy-saving products, the company actively introduces a contract energy management model, conducts technical research and development, transformation, and related technical services for energy-saving products and projects, rapidly increasing market share and becoming a backbone enterprise in the domestic energy-saving service field.
In October 2010, the company successfully settled in the Liangjiang New Area Caijia LED Industrial Park, planning to build a sapphire and LED industrial park covering an area of 1,000 acres. By the end of 2010, the first phase of the 320-acre sapphire and LED industrial park, with a production plant of 32,000 square meters, was completed and put into use. After a full year of operation in 2011, it formed an annual production capacity of 3 million pieces equivalent to 2-inch sapphire substrates, 1.2 billion LED packaging devices, and 28,000 kilowatts of LED lighting fixtures; the second phase, covering 95,000 square meters and a construction area of 130,000 square meters, is also actively starting.
Looking to the future, the company will continue to uphold the corporate spirit of "people-oriented, survival of the fittest, inheritance and innovation, pursuit of excellence" and the service tenet of "Suilian is by the user's side, and the user is in Suilian's heart," with sapphire products as the leading product, LED packaging products as the main line, and LED engineering application products as support. The company will closely follow the international LED development trend, leverage Suilian's internationally leading substrate material preparation technology advantages, extend the industrial chain, expand the industrial scale, and enhance the industrial agglomeration. It will actively attract and integrate advantageous resources from upstream and downstream, maximize the radiation-driven effect, gather to form a hundred billion-level industrial scale, and build the company into a global supply base for LED products aimed at the domestic and Asia-Pacific markets, making it the most complete semiconductor lighting industry base in Western China with the largest operating scale, contributing to the creation of an energy-saving and environmentally friendly society and achieving greater contributions to the expansion of Suilian's new industries.
